I just talked about prayer being powerful. Testimonies are powerful too! Typically, people share their testimony of how they became followers of Christ and those are incredible, powerful, and always so important to share. People sometimes don’t see the small moments of God working in their lives also as testimonies important to share. Sometimes those testimonies are intimate between you and the Lord and meant to stay that way, however sometimes those testimonies need to be shared. If the Lord leads you to share how He is working in your life, it can really be faith building for others.

1 Corinthians 1:4-9 NIV

Thanksgiving

“4I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. 5For in him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge— 6God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. 7Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. 8He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

I love this passage because it speaks to testimonies. It shows that Christ abides in us and desires fellowship with us. He is for us and wants to keep us firm in our faith. God desires for us to be “…enriched in every way…speech and with all knowledge…”.

May the testimonies you share and the testimonies you read build your faith.
