Abiding in Him
He keeps reminding me to abide in Him. The word “abide” keeps coming up in my life in so many ways through songs, from other people, in sermons, and in the idea the Lord shared with me this summer, which is why it is called “Abide in Me Testimonies”.
John 15:4 TLV from “Abiding in the Vine”
“Abide in Me, and I will abide in you. The branch cannot itself produce fruit, unless it abides on the vine. Likewise, you cannot produce fruit unless you abide in Me.”
It truly is life changing when we abide in Him. So, when you feel like nothing good is going on in your life, ask yourself, “Am I abiding in Him?”
I remember when I started to abide in Him again, after spiritually starving myself for a few months. My son was about three months old and he had woken up at 4am. He then fell asleep within a hour and I just felt the Lord inviting me back to a place of abiding in Him. In fact, He had me worshipping to the song “Abide”. I began to weep and feel His faithful presence. I felt renewed.
